On April 13 and 14, transnational meeting was held in Berlin to discuss progress made in Activity 5 and the development of a new training manual for young people. The meeting was attended by members of partner organizations and youth workers from local communities. The participants discussed new training design, which included learning content, exercises, and outcomes from each working group.
The main objective of the meeting was to create a new training manual for young people in the field of waste management. The participants applied the three country-oriented training designs to develop a manual that would encourage young people to become actively engaged in their local communities and provide them with theoretical and practical tools to address environmental concerns. To make new training manual accessible to a wider audience, project team members started preparing an e-learning platform that would follow the content of the manual. The e-learning platform will allow more participants to take part in the training, regardless of geographical proximity to partner organizations or physical obstacles that may occur.
Overall, the transnational meeting in Berlin was a success, and the new training manual will be an essential resource for young people interested in waste management. The manual is a step towards creating a more sustainable environment and reducing the impact of waste on our planet.
